Quercus Van Generhese
Quercus and Jacqueline have been competition
partners since 2009. Quercus continues to exceed
expectations, and is Jacqueline’s top mount, competing
with her at the Grand Prix level.
In 2011, they were the OHJA provincial champion
for the year in the Jr/Am 1.40m. Quercus competed at
the national finals, the Royal Winter Fair, in the Talent
Squad, and the High Amateur Jumper division, in which
he was reserve champion with Jacqueline aboard.
Quercus and Jacqueline travelled to Kentucky to
represent Canada at the 2011, 2012 and 2013 North
American Junior and Young Riders Championship, as the
anchor rider every year. In 2013, they finished 9th
individually, with a clear round in the Young Riders
individual finals and helped Canada earn a fifth place
finish in the team competition.
